ArenAPoort is a unique part of Amsterdam that includes both sides of Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station. The area is transformed into a multifunctional living space

and attractive part of the urban fabric. The goal is to create a place with a mix of functions and a high spatial quality. There is also extra attention for public space, the starting point is: make as much green as possible and create a sustainable and future-proof area. The Development Strategy (Ontwikkelstrategie) and a Spatial Quality Framework (Ruimtelijk Kwaliteitskader) are established and I worked with the team on further elaboration. My role as an urban designer in the team included tasks such as working on Sketch design/ Preliminary design / Defintive design check of architectural proposals and making of building envelopes.
